Rabbi’s Message & YIGC Announcements for 1/6/18
I hope everyone is staying as warm as they can be. Because of the unusually cold weather we had to postpone our Friday night oneg to next week. Details about it will follow next week. I know our timing isn’t great, but this week the Kiddush after the main minyan will be in honor of our newest granddaughter Chaya Avigayil Burnstein. If you can attend we will be thrilled to have you join us.
It is a good idea to remind everyone that during weather conditions such as what we are currently experiencing we need to be extra careful not only to take care of ourselves and our families, but also not to spread any unwanted germs to others. If any of us have had a fever within the last 24 hours, or are coughing or sneezing excessively, it would be better not to come to shule. In addition, please cough or sneeze (if you need to) into your elbow and not your hand, as this leads to the rapid spread of germs.
Have a great Shabbos.
The Oneg scheduled for tonight, January 5th at the Schwartz’s is being postponed due to cold weather. It will iy”H be held next week, January 12th at the Borchardt’s, 14418 East Carroll Blvd in University Heights.
