Dear Members and Friends,
We are updating our Covid policies.
The CDC issued guidance last week that those vaccinated need not wear a mask in most public settings.
As a result, late Friday the Governor announced the following: “Ohio will be amending our remaining health orders to comply with the new CDC guidance, which says that those who have been vaccinated no longer need to wear masks, while those who have not been vaccinated should still wear a mask and socially distance.”
The Young Israel of Greater Cleveland, effective immediately, will be mask optional and we will remove the seating tape in the main shul. We would recommend those that are in the process of being vaccinated to continue to mask for your safety.
The CDC has strongly recommended that all who can, should vaccinate.
We, as a shul, will not police those that are or not vaccinated.
Some may choose to continue to wear a mask, while others may not, but we kindly request all be respectful to one another as we continue to adjust back to normal shul settings.
The northeast section of the main shul will remain open for men’s seating. We kindly request this section remain for those that would like to daven in an area that is still strictly masked.
Looking forward to a meaningful Yom Tov,
The Young Israel of Greater Cleveland
