Dear Members and Friends:
The Young Israel of Greater Cleveland is embarking on a new and exciting project and would like your support. As you may have noticed, the Leonard and Susan Fuchs Banquet Hall is overdue for updating and repairs. In the near future, we will begin renovating the banquet hall with an eye towards making it a go-to destination for private and community events in the Greater Cleveland area.
B”H our vibrant shul continues to grow, and with it the need to have a beautiful space for our members’ simchas. As our shul grows, so too does the broader Cleveland Jewish community, and we have often been the location of choice for private and community organizations’ events. In recent years, our building and banquet hall has hosted nearly every Jewish organization in Cleveland – from the day schools, to the youth groups, to other shuls and nonprofit organizations. This growth, and the continued need for space, provides us with an opportunity to monetize one of our building’s most important assets – our banquet hall.
To remain competitive and to continue to attract revenue-generating events, we must improve and enhance our building in general, and the banquet hall in particular. Our goal is to begin renovations in the banquet hall, the atrium, and the vestibule in early 2022.
We need your help with this project. Our immediate goal is to raise $75,000 -$100,000. Donations can be made by check or through the link on our website https://yigc.org/donate/. We hope you will consider a contribution towards this important project.
If you have any questions on the project, please reach out to either of us by calling 216-382-5740 or email office@yigc.org.
We appreciate your ongoing support of the organization.
Sincerely,
Rabbi Burnstein
Yank Gecovich, President
