Clilei Torah Message, Rabbi’s Message & YIGC Announcements for 7/11/20 Parshas Pinchas
I hope this letter finds you well. With the Three Weeks upon us, Rosh Hashana will be here before we know it – and with it, the much-anticipated sixth volume of our esteemed shul Torah Journal, Clilei Torah of Cleveland.
The past few months have been difficult in so many ways, and it is a credit to our community that we have maintained a robust program of Torah learning. A community centered on Torah has a special warmth and unity that transcends physical distance, and sharing Torah thoughts in Clilei Torah is an excellent way to express and build on that from afar.
Our plan is to publish this year’s journal on the same schedule as the past few years’, ready to read over the Yamim Noraim, but we need you!
Thank you to those who have already contacted us about the upcoming Journal. For those who haven’t, please be in touch with either Rabbi Moshe Berger (email@example.com) or Sarah Rudolph (firstname.lastname@example.org) to submit an article, and contact Ronnie Shulman (email@example.com) for sponsorship opportunities.
Note that articles should be submitted by the beginning of August. (Please be in touch with any concerns about timing, and we’ll work with you to get your Torah thoughts out there.)
Best wishes for a safe and healthy summer. We look forward to learning together from near and far.
Sarah C. Rudolph
I hope all is well and that you are staying cool despite the stifling heat around us. As we adjust to the new reality of life during COVID-19, our shul is working to continue our minyanim in a safe and responsible manner. To that end, we are currently working on how to set up our minyanim for Tisha B’Av. In addition, although Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are still a few months away, and no one knows what the situation will be at that time, we are starting to have discussions about how to approach the Yomim Noraim. We will keep our membership informed of each step and we appreciate your patience, understanding and commitment.
Have a great Shabbos.
