Rabbi’s Message, YIGC Announcements, & Kidz Korner Parsha Sheet for 11/28/2020
Dear Member,
This week, im yirtzeh Hashem, our new community mikveh will open. Having had the opportunity to see the new mikveh, I can attest that it is a beautiful state of the art mikveh. Not only was it built with all kinds of special halachic hidurim, it is also built with beauty and class. For as long as we must remain here in Cleveland, I hope that our community will use this new mikveh, and it will help enhance our observance of the special mitzvah of taharas hamishpacha.
Have a great Shabbos.
Sincerely,
Rabbi Burnstein
COVID 19 Update:
The YIGC continues to strive to create a safe environment for all entering our shul building. Unfortunately, the spread of COVID-19 continues to rise in the state of Ohio and in Cuyahoga County. Recently, our local Jewish Day Schools have placed students with COVID-19 exposure into quarantine – and cannot return to school for two weeks. We request that any individual in quarantine, even if you are not displaying any symptoms, remain home and not attend minyan nor enter the shul building.
For those entering the building we remind everyone that wearing a mask, covering both nose and mouth, is required at all times and to please remain home if you do not feel well.

Zoom Event on Dec. 7 at 8 pm to commemorate the Shloshim of HaRav Dovid Feinstein zt”l and Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks zt”l. Rabbis Burnstein, Berger and Lebovics will speak. Zoom information will follow.
Join us in the “Be the Spark in Someone Else’s Day” initiative. Is there someone who you used to see in shul and they are no longer attending? Have you been home and miss saying good Shabbos to someone else you used to see often? Take a moment each week of Kislev to reignite that spark of friendship and give a community member a call, send a text or an email to stay connected until we IYH can all spend time together again. Please contact the Young Israel office if you need an email or phone number.
