Times for Reading of Parshas Zachor:
Please send in your Maos Chitim donations as soon as possible. Put “Maos Chitim” in the memo.
This Shabbos we will be reading Parshas Zachor. As in the past, at both the Hashkoma and main minyan we will read Parshas Zachor during kriyas hatorah and again at the conclusion of the minyan, if there are any people who missed it earlier. There will be an additional reading at the Stone Synagogue at 5:15 pm which is one-half hour before Mincha. Anyone is uncomfortable coming to shule can read Parshas Zachor from a chumash preferably with the trup.
I want to thank everyone who responded to the form we sent out last week requesting your preference of times to hear the Megillah on Purim. I am excited that there are many people planning to attend and we are planning for multiple minyanim to insure safety and social distancing. For those who completed the online form, we will be sending out a list early next week letting you know the location of the minyan, you should attend. .
We pray that next year things will have improved and we will all be able to celebrate together, halivy in Eretz Yisroel.
Please join us on Motzei Shabbos at 8;30 pm for the 3rd in our series of Pre-Purim lectures—in person at the Stone Synagogue and on Zoom. Our speaker will be Dr. Moshe Ornstein.
Please do not forget our annual Maos Chittm campaign that I talked about in shule last Shabbos. Whatever your method of payment, please send your donation to our office, earmarked for the Maos Chittim appeal, and we will take care of the rest.
