             Rabbi’s Message & YIGC Announcements for 12/2/17

Welcome to our Scholar-in-Residence, Rabbi Dr. Shnayer Leiman

Dear Member:

Three important reminders:

  • Please join us this Shabbos for our Scholar-in-Residence Shabbaton with Rabbi Dr. Shnayer Leiman.  Rabbi Leiman will be speaking four times over the weekend.  Check our earlier flyers for the details.
  • This Monday evening, December 4, at Maariv, we begin saying V’Sain Tal Umatar in the bracha of Bareich Aleinu.  In our December newsletter we discussed some of the halachos regarding if one forgot to say V’Sain Tal Umatar or if one does not recall whether or not they said V’Sain Tal Umatar.  Please check our newsletter for the details.
  • Next Sunday night, December 10, we will have our annual Chanukah party, hosted by our Hebrew Academy branch.  It is preferable to make reservations in advance, so we will have an idea how much food to order.

Have a great Shabbos.
