WELCOME BNEI AKIVA and Rav Shaul Feldman, Executive Director of Bnei Akiva US & Canada!
ONEG NEXT FRIDAY NIGHT, MARCH 1, 8:30 PM AT HOME OF MEIR & DEBORAH POLLACK: “ PROVING THE DIVINE ORIGIN OF THE TORAH” WITH RABBI YEHUDA APPEL
Dear Member:
Please bear with me if my message is longer than usual. There is a lot going on and I do not want to miss anything.
This Shabbos we will have the pleasure of hosting the Bnai Akiva Midwest Shvatim Shabbaton. They will join us tonight for Kabbolas Shabbos and Maariv. There will be a Carlbach tefilah.
Thank you to the chair people of last weeks’ Trivia Night program. It was a fantastic program enjoyed by all.
Our Wine Tasting event is this coming Sunday night. We are expecting a very nice turnout, and we are looking forward to a great evening for all in attendance.
Everyone should have received the eye catching mailing about our $100,000 sweepstakes. Please consider purchasing one or more tickets. It is a great way to support our shule, and maybe even win a big prize.
Next Shabbos we are planning an Oneg Shabbos. Rabbi Yehuda Appel of Aish Hatorah will be our speaker. We will remind you about it during the week.
Mazel tov to the members of our nightly Mishna Brura shiur, on our expected completion of the third volume of the Mishna Brura this coming Sunday night. We hope to start the fourth volume on Monday night. New attendees are always welcome. The class runs from 8:50 to 9:30PM.
Have a great Shabbos.
Rabbi Burnstein
