This Shabbos we will have our first Bar Mitzvah in our shule (at the Stone Synagogoue) since the beginning of Covid 19. Mazel tov to Zevi Farkas, his parents, David and Sarah Farkas, and to his grandparents, Mark and Miriam Berkowitz. For Mark it will be his first appearance in shule since his recent illness. We are thrilled that Mark will be able to join the Simcha. We pray that this should be the first of many more simchos celebrated in our shule in the near future.
This Shabbos afternoon at 6:20 pm we will have our annual Shabbos Hagadol Drasha. Although it is normally given on Shabbos Hagadol, which is next Shabbos, this year since Shabbos Hagadol is Erev Pesach, it is the tradition to give the drasha the Shabbos before. You are all welcome to join; all our safety guidelines will be followed.
A reminder to sell your chometz this coming week, preferably earlier than later in the week. Details of how and when to sell chometz are above this message.
Another important detail to remember is that the siyum bichorim is on Thursday morning and not on Friday. You can come hear the siyum in person or listen by calling in to the phone number (Phone number: 425-436-6349 Access code: 690134#) and listen to the siyum over the phone. At the Stone Synagogue there will be a siyum at 7:20 AM and one at 8:30 AM; at the HAC branch the Siyum will follow the 7:00 am Shacharis.
