Rabbi’s Message & YIGC Announcements for 7/14/18
Mazel tov to our Wednesday night gemorah class for finishing Maseches Makkos. This coming Wednesday evening we will begin Maseches Gitten. For the next few weeks the class will meet 45 minutes before Mincha/Maariv. When the time for Mincha/Maariv gets earlier, the class will move to after Mincha Maariv. If anyone would like to attend our Wednesday night class, this is the opportune time to join.
This Shabbos afternoon I hope to conclude the topic of how to use our ovens appropriately (from a kashrus perspective). Please join us at 5:30 PM.
A special yasher koach to all the professionals and volunteers who helped rescue the 12 boys and their leader this past week in Thailand. It was wonderful to see the concern of everyone around the world, and how closely they followed the miraculous rescue mission that took place. When these incidents occur, it reminds us of what it means to be created b’zelem elokim (in the image of Hashem).
Have a great Shabbos.
Rabbi Naphtali Burnstein

Help ease your brother’s burden – Donate to the Cleveland Chesed Center on July 17th!
The Cleveland Chesed Center, established in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, is a tremendous resource for families in the Jewish community who struggle to meet their financial burdens. Since opening in March 2016, we have put food, household products, personal care items, and more into the hands of over 1800 community members across 24 zip codes and 5 counties! Your donation will translate into a full fridge, a plentiful pantry, quality clothing and accessories, and the full spectrum of household furnishings which all help to ease the financial burden for our families. All donations received on July 17th will secure twice their value in pledges from generous supporters— making your dollar worth triple. Every $1 you give will be worth $3! Learn more and donate at http://campaign.clevelandchesedcenter.org.
