It is very scary to watch the news and see the anti-Semitism that is popping up here in the U.S. and elsewhere throughout the world. It is a reminder to us of the statement of our Rabbi’s “halacha b’yadua eisav sonei es Yaakov”. It isn’t new and it isn’t going away. Let us continue to pray that Hashem continue to protect us and that we try our best to remain a unified people. It is the only way we will survive and hopefully thrive as well.
This coming Monday morning, Memorial Day, our Kollel will once again have a special learning program and shiur. The topic will be the Heter Mechira that is used during the upcoming Shmitta year. I hope you can attend and enjoy the breakfast, chavrusa learning, and shiur.
Have a great Shabbos.
