Shabbos Announcements 12/4/21

 Shabbos Announcements 12/4/21

 Dear Member,

I hope everyone is having a meaningful and enjoyable Chanukah.  I want to remind everyone that this coming Motzai Shabbos, December 4, we begin to say V’sein Tal U’matar Livracha in the Maariv Shmone Esrai.  That means that we stop saying the shorter phrase of Vsein Bracha and we insert the longer one, which we will say until Pesach.  In our December newsletter, which you should have received this past week, we discussed a  few more of the halachic details of saying this phrase at this time.  If after reading the halachos you still have any questions, please feel free to call me.

The shul Chanukah party on Tuesday night was very well attended and the children had a great time. Our thanks to the chairperson, Dafna Stern, and to her volunteers for making this a very successful event.

My wife and I are hoping to spend Shabbos Chanukah with some of our family in the east.  We look forward to seeing you next week.

Wishing you a great Shabbos, a gutten chodesh and a freilichin Chanukah.

 Rabbi Burnstein
