Dear Member,
My wife and I had a wonderful trip to Eretz Yisroel. The weather was a little on the wet side. The country is in need of rain so how could we possibly complain? Despite the recent terrorist attacks that have taken place, normal life seems to be taking place. The streets are packed with people, and there is constant building going on everywhere you turn. It should only continue.
Below is a flyer, for those who are interested, about the annual Mishloach Manos program that National Council of Young Israel arranges, to send Shalach Manos to soldiers of the I.D.F. It is such a beautiful way to connect the mitzvah of Mishloach Manos, with showing our hakoras hatov to our brothers and sisters in the I.D.F. who are helping protect Acheinu Bnai Yisroel each and every day. Please look at the flyer and see what we can do to show our Hakoras Hatov, and fulfill a mitzvah at the same time.
Have a great Shabbos.
Rabbi Naphtali Burnstein
