Dear Member,
There are many wonderful organizations that have helped the growth of our community. One particular one is Aish Hatorah, that has been doing outreach in our community, and on the college campuses for over thirty years. Our local Aish Hatorah has been run by Rabbi Yehuda Appel and Rabbi Chaim Feld, and has been successful in educating and bringing many individuals and families, closer to their heritage and to greater religious observance.
Rabbi Appel and his wife Channah have made the decision to make aliya.
Chana has already moved to Eretz Yisroel, and Rabbi Appel will be moving shortly after Shavuos. I have asked Rabbi Appel to give the drasha this Shabbos morning at the 9:00 AM minyan, and share some thoughts with us about his experiences here in Cleveland, as an Aish leader and member of our community. I hope you will join me to hear his remarks, and offer him a Tzaischem L’shalom on his move to Eretz Yisroel. Our brachos to Rabbi Cham Feld as he continues to run our local Aish Hatorah into the future.
