Dear Member,

Once again, whatever sense of security that we might have had, has been removed, by the tragic incident that took place in Highland Park, IL. Another shooting. more loss of life, without explanation, without a cause.  Not that with an explanation or with a cause it would be any better.  We must continue to daven, that Hashem should protect everyone, wherever they may be, and whomever they may be.

 

I wish every one a peaceful and restful Shabbos.

COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Bikur Cholim’s Summer Safety event.

Sunday, July 10th from 9-noon, the event will be held, rain or shine, in the parking lot of Young Israel of Greater Cleveland on 2363 South Green Road in Beachwood.

Patrons will have the opportunity to participate in the following safety initiatives:

 

  • Receive a car seat(s) check.
  • Purchase discounted bike helmets ($10/helmet; includes measurement).
  • Receive literature on bike, pedestrian, home and water safety.

 

This event is sponsored by Bikur Cholim of Cleveland in partnership with University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati Children’s and Toyota’s Buckle Up for Life program, and Safe Kids of Cleveland. A limited number of car seats are available to families in need who meet specific qualifications. Please call 216-844-2277 for details.

 

Registration is not required. Car seat checks and helmet measuring will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis.
