Shabbos Announcements 7/10/21
SUNDAY, JULY 11 AT 10:00AM AT THE STONE SYNAGOGUE: GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND.
This Shabbos is Rosh Chodesh Av, otherwise known as Rosh Chodesh Menachem Av. We now begin the period known as the Nine Days, which are the days in the month of Av that lead up to Tisha B’Av. The mourning intensifies as we get closer to Tisha B’Av. I hope to discuss the laws of the nine days during our short dvar halacha period between Mincha and Maariv of the coming week. Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Mazel tov for all those who finished Maseches Yoma and are starting Maseches Succah, as part of the Daf Hayomi program. If anyone would like to consider joining, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
