Dear Member,
I am excited to remind everyone about some wonderful programs that will take place in our shul over the next few weeks.
1) Starting this Shabbos afternoon, for the next several weeks, there will be a women’s lecture at 5:30 PM. Mrs. Shifra Hanson will be our first presenter.
2) This coming Monday night, we will be joining an international program, known as the Semichas Chaver Program. It will meet on Monday evenings at 8:00 PM. I hope to lead this class, and look forward to an interesting series of learning for all in attendance.
3) Next Shabbos, Parshas Acharei Mos-Kedoshim, we will inaugurate our Leonard and Susan Fuchs Memorial Shabbaton. The theme of the Shabbaton will be Israel’s 75th anniversary. Our Scholar in Residence will be Rabbi Akiva Zweig, Rosh Yeshiva at the Talmidical University of Florida. A very special thank you to Boaz and Shani Shevach, for sponsoring the Shabbaton.
We will celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut on Wednesday, April 26.
Have a great Shabbos.
Rabbi Burnstein
